Who we are
Eyemouth Museum is an independent museum with charitable status. The overall management of Eyemouth museum is governed by a board of trustees whilst the day to day running is taken care of by a small, dedicated group of volunteers. An award winning attraction, Eyemouth Museum also gained full accreditation in 2011.
How we are funded
Eyemouth museum is self funded and is heavy reliant upon admission charges and income from its shop in addition to development funds and support from Museums Gallieres Scotland and Scottish Borders Council. Donations from visitors and other members of the public also contribute greatly to the ongoing sustainability of the museum . What we offer
By prior arrangement Eyemouth Museum can accommodate visiting groups of up to twenty visitors at a time. Guided tours can also be arranged. Eyemouth Museum benefits from a team of volunteers who have vast knowledge relevant to the exhibits and artefacts.
