New Exhibition for 2018 – ‘The Short Life of BK271 ‘Christina Craig’ 1914-1918

We are very excited to announce the opening of our new exhibition on our first floor gallery – “The Short Life of BK271 ‘Christina Craig’ 1914-1918” – a brief history of an Eyemouth fishing boat which was involved in World War 1 and which was sunk along with other craft engaged in “The Dover Patrol’ on 15th February 1918, just over a hundred years ago. The exhibition is by Will Collin the grandson of skipper Will Collin (pictured here alongside the Christina Craig), and includes much of the history and photographs of the family which will be of interest to local people.  Entry is free and we’re open from Monday to Saturday 11am to 4pm from April to October.
